GIVEAWAY: Lamy Safari Neon Coral Fountain Pen




Woooooooo! My Lamy Safari Fountain Pen in the new (SCREAMING) Neon Coral color arrived Saturday.

Lamy Safari fountain pens are wonderful for a whole lot of reasons and this is a GREAT color. I'm totally excited about inking it up and taking it for a spin.

Before I do that, I wanted to let you know that I ordered TWO of these pens.  One for me to keep and love forever and one to give away!

One winner will be chosen at random from all of the entries. US only (so sorry, international friends).

Leave a comment here before next Monday - May 12, to be entered to win. (One entry per person, ok?)

And...seriously seriously, tell me how to get in touch with you. I'll try like crazy, but if I can't find you with you within three days of the drawing, someone else will get the pen.

    A rabbi, a horse trainer and a sword swallower go into a bar. They each order a single malt Scottish whisky with no ice and just a dribble of water. The rabbi says, "I'd offer to pay but sadly I lost my wallet with all my money and credit cards on the train." The horse trainer says, "I, too, would like to pay for these fine drinks but, as it turn out, the old leather valise in which I keep my money and passport was accidentally thrown out by a maid at the hotel I was staying in last night." The sword swallower noisily scratched the dark stubble on his chin. "Well, lucky for you guys I just happen to have a fresh new American Express card with zero balance. The drinks are on me!" He whips out the shiny new card and hands it to the bartender. The bartender runs the card through and hands it back to the sword swallower along with the receipt to sign. The sword swallower opens his mouth, reaches deeply down his throat and pulls out a beautiful coral-colored Lamy Safari pen. He signs the receipt with a dashing flourish and recaps the pen. He's about to put the pen back down throat when he notices the rabbi and the horse trainer staring at him aghast. "What?" the sword swallower says. "I don't have any pockets."

    Oh my!!!! I ADORE my Lamy and soooo would love this color. I suppose should I not win. I'll eventually buy it. But.... To wait 8 more days to find out could be too much to ask.     The Lamy Safari, what can be said, but it's definitely the workhorse of my collection and many others too. I love the constant additions of color, the simplicity of design, the ease of changing different nib sizes (even between many other Lamy pens), and last but not least the consistent quality of the product and the excellent job it does putting ink to paper. Oh, and seeing as this isn't a sponsor supplied pen giveaway and instead the generosity of our host, you can be assured that I will take extra special care of it and treasure it as I would any personal gift.
